Owners Damian Croney + Ewart De Noon

Damian Croney and Ewart De Noon, dem two fellas eh easy at all. Talk bout car freaks, (aren't we all), deh probably doh have a parrot on ah stick to mine, because I feel deh does spend all dere dollars on car. Not to mention deh leave work early to do dis photo session (JUS KIDDING). It was around 5.15pm on a Friday afternoon dat we met at de worlds largest round-about, The Queen's Park Savannah to get close and personal with dem and dem rides.

16"BSALike most car enthusiasts Damian purchased his 1999 Honda Civic Hatch-back for its reliability, efficiency and status.
As with most trini owners Damian could not leave good enough alone. I guess he was born to "dig up". With in one month of driving around stock, the Civic became a work in progress. He first decided to give the ride his personal touch by tinting and dropping it. The last thing he wanted was a Civic that looked like all others. Next on his list was a set of performance rims and tyres, after offering up several different sets he finally settled on a combination that tickled his fancy. A set of BEAUTYful 16x7 inch BSA Octopus wheels wrapped in 195/50/16 Falken GBR tyres. To stick to the pitch Damian complemented the rubber with a complete set of Jamex Sport-Line Suspension and beefed up the handling and braking with a
Tenzo-R stabilizer bar and Brembo Cross-drilled Rotors.

it shiney shiney eh?Remember projects evolve over time, so for now the stock drive-train got a boost with some simple but impressive bolt-on mods. Firstly, exhaust now flows through a Stillen 4-1 Ceramic Coated Header then to a 21/4 inch Tenzo-R Civic exhaust system. On the other side of the head a Weapon-R Intake improves fuel flow, "it's 30% less restrictive than the stock one".
For now it seems that Damian is making educated choices as he turns Beauty into a Beast. Look forward to new engine mods from Damian in a few months

Where Damain leaves off, his co-worker, his good buddy, ole pal, ole friend picks up. Ewart De Noon is no novice in this speed thing. Ewart ran through 3 speed demons in the past 3 years. Starting in 1997 with the much-respected Nissan Sunny B11 which he kept prim and trim. When he realized that he could not get above a certain price for this vehicle he stopped spending and looked for something newer and faster. He found his dream car at a foreign used dealer. The feared Mazda 323F Turbo. This dream was short lived however as Ewarts mechanic wrote-off the car on a wall (jeeese). In August 1999 with insurance money in hand, he went back to the dealers and as luck would have it found yet another deadly ride. The beastly Mitsubishi Lancer GSR Turbo, I mean 210hp stock who could ask for more. Instead of me going on an on with aesthetic verbs and adjectives I will let your imagination do the talking. Enjoy………
