Drags postponed due to bad weather...
So in the midst of the dry season, would you believe (on Sunday 24th) intermittent showers were enough to upset all the well laid plans of the Drag Racing enthusiasts at the AutoDrome!

But the serious and true Drag Racing buffs were still treated to some close match ups in between the light drizzle, and are now assured of an even bigger and better Event this coming weekend.

AutoSport, in conjunction with the Trinidad and Tobago Automobile Sports Association will be hosting a joint Circuit and Drag-Racing Event on the South Circuit.

And this will be an official Event for both Drag Racing and Circuit Drivers, so all those cars which were primed to run this past Sunday will again be seen in action. The big guns in the open class will also be most present but only in display runs since some more repairs must be done before they can really put down all their incredible power on this track.

The day promises to be one that can prove quite interesting for everyone be they competitor or spectator. This will be the first major outing for the Circuit drivers and they are all keen to start to build on their points for the annual Championships.

And for The Drag Racing drivers, well they cannot get to the start line fast enough to confirm who is really the best in the respective classes. At this time there are 47 submitted entries!

The full compliment of seating facilities will be installed to ensure a truly fun day for the entire family.
