So where are the 16 seconds racers who have been clamoring to keep the bracket going? No sweat, we will give it a try again and hope to encourage the newcomers.

But what about the successful new drivers who experienced beginners luck in March and then April?? The consistency must be worked upon. But it is still good to see other driers in winners row and thus they get some kind of incentive to move forward. Mr. SR made a welcome and successful return to competition fighting off the very consistent Dragaholic but we know this will not continue for long. And then we have Tony Samaroo as a first-time winner in 15’s with N. Lakhansingh again copping the special prize sponsored by Auto Nation for the best 15 seconds non-turbo, non-nitrous machine.

And in return we saw the Auto Nation car winning (fair and square, no nepotism!) everything in 14’s, including the best Reaction Time of .503 for the day.

Doodnath Sookram was one of three drivers to emerge repeat winners in this Event. But note, even with the solitary win in heads up, he was still able to emerge Bracket Champion. How? He ensured that he collected all of the other points on offer and walks away with the cash prize.

Finally Christian Tam was able to get the better of the likes of Alvin and Paul in heads up and with his 2nd place in Dial-Up he emerged for the first time as the 12 Seconds Bracket Champion.

Larry Ragoobar overcame his mechanical problems of March and blew away the competition in 11 secs.

With Gary Smith being his very consistent self in 10 seconds, Shaun Ready having to settle for second place running with only three gears.

Michael Douglas again ruled in the Open class in spite of damaging a front rim and applying some serious hammer-and-chisel on-track rim-renew technology to ensure his second run. Hero had some transmission problems and was unable to access his in-flight tuning via satellite from his US-based tuners. More on this later.

Ronnie Lutchmansingh again secured fastest 6-cylinder @ 11.382 seconds, with Greg Chung in his potent Honda Civic being crowned best 4-cylinder clocking 11.471 seconds. Sean Ready with three gears only, won best Rotary @ 10.267 secs. And Michael Douglas with bent rim running fastest car of the day @ 8.413 seconds.
