All hopes Powell had for rallying at RT11 in his Subaru S12 WRC were dashed when he learned that the car needed  repair to one of the differentials. The WRC car is currently in the UK and was going to be flown to Trinidad for the Rally Trinidad 2011 event, but the last minute decision made by Powell  meant the car would remain in the UK.

Not all is lost though as Powell will now be piloting his brand new Group N Mitsubishi Evolution X rally car for Rally Trinidad this year!
We have never had an Evo X rally car in T&T and we are sure alot of spectators and rally fans are just as eager to see the car perform.
