TTKA Kart Racing #2

Trinidad and Tobago Karting Association (TTKA) held it’s second championship event on April 10.  Track conditions were ideal as the weather held up nicely to provide ideal racing conditions for competitors.  In each class the usual suspects continued their run of form as the championship front runners are beginning to emerge. The cadet class was led on the day by young Amir Mohammed with Enrique De Leon and Ty Carrington both turning in creditable performances to take second and third respectively.  In the Mini Max Class we are seeing some creditable performances as well with Nicolas Maddan placing first, Isa Deen second and Shiva Seepersad claiming the final podium placing.

In the 100cc class Che Carrington was in superb form taking first on the day with Saleem Deen and Shane Pinheiro taking the other two spots while in the Rotax International class a full field of fourteen competitors participated. This class has become the most competitive given the number of subscribers that are evenly matched. Bridget Singh continues to dictate with Ryan Peyrau and Craig Sumair in close pursuit. Gerard Carrington continues his dominance of the Rotax Masters class while Fyzool Maddan and Anslim Ali remain in the chase. The Shifter class which showcases some of the fastest machines saw limited action on the day however at the end Luke Bhola led all others with Ryan Garcia and Ray Wong Doo completing the podium placing.
