Racers target new track records at repaved Wallerfield SeaBoard Marine CMRC 2015 Racing Meet

In less than a month, fans will be able to experience the best-ever Trinidad & Tobago Automobile Sports Association (TTASA) circuit racing meet, as this year the stars have aligned as never before at Wallerfield. The track is scheduled to receive its first resurfacing– a racecar driver’s dream– before the June 20-21 2015 event. This means that the fastest Group 4 cars in the Caribbean will finally run at full potential, with last year’s 41.69-second track record on the line.

Hott 93 Grand Auto Show: 03.May.15

Skinner Park came alive on Sunday 2nd May, 2015, with the sound of old school music, but more importantly, it was the location of HOTT 93 v8 car show. From as early as 9am, cars and patrons alike lined up outside to get into one of the biggest car events for 2015. Classic car attractions included icons such as the Austin Mini Cooper, Ferrari 308 GTS, Volkswagen Beetle, Jaguar Mark II and Corolla KE70 wagon, among countless other well-kept driving treasures.

Solodex 1 – 8th March 2015

CARS kicked off its first competition event for 2015 on March 8th at the Arima Race Club car park and opted for a twist to the familiar old karting course. This time the course was run in reverse in an attempt to level the playing field for the rookies now entering the heat of competition.

AutoSport Drag & Winding #1 2015

AutoSport Racing launched its 2015 Drag and Wind(ing) series of Events on 1st March at the ARC Car Park. With a mixture of rain, high breeze and then the best Caribbean weather, competitors welcomed the return to the original concept of Drag… and then the winding segments. This again proved quite attractive to both driver and patrons alike, since the “race” aspect from the start always kept everyone glued to see who would arrive at the first turn the fastest.

CMRC 2014 Round 2 – Wallerfield

As the region starts preparations for round three of the Seaboard Marine Caribbean Motor Racing Championship at South Dakota in Guyana on November 15/16, we can finally bring you our report of the Return to Wallerfield. Apologies for the delay, guys, but it has taken a while to sort through all the images – there were rather a lot, as you’d expect after the first race meet for so many years – while some minor changes to the CMRC points system have also meant cross-checking results to ensure complete accuracy.

CMRC Round 2 to be held at Wallerfield this weekend!

This weekend’s highly anticipated return to Wallerfield and hosting of the second round of the Seaboard Marine Caribbean Motor Racing Championship (CMRC) is an occasion of pride for everyone involved, and not just for the Trinidad & Tobago Automobile Sports Association (TTASA). Wallerfield to be revived for CMRC Regional Racing Meet

The Trinidad & Tobago Automobile Sport Association (TTASA) has acquired use of the circuit track at Wallerfield to host a leg of the CMRC regional circuit racing event here on August 24th 2014. Current TTASA President Mr. Robert Amar has confirmed that the association’s members are working feverishly to have the facility ready in time for the upcoming event. He said that”this event MUST take place”.
