Originally carded for 25th and 26th of July 2015, the first drags at Wallerfield in quite a long time suffered blows from low turn out of competitors and spectators- perhaps due to the local banter over the prison break (and the clash with cricket and Autosport’s Drag and Wind), however the event was then extended to August 1st and 2nd- a good move on Speed Promotions part as the extended week brought about almost 3x the initial competitors and spectators and also better weather.Full Story
“Licks will be shared, none will be spared.” That’s what the man on the mic said. Even for the ‘test and tune’ Saturday competition was stiffer than stiff with their second installment of the AWD Shootout at Camden. Competitor turnout reflected that a $3000.00 cash prize was more than enough incentive to get them to come out and try their hand at this dial-up competition thing.Full Story
Hyped on their first event for 2015 on Saturday 28th February + Sunday 1st March, the Trinidad & Tobago Unified Drag Racers Association (TTUNDRA) catered for everyone- even for old guns from Wallerfield days…days before I was around.Full Story
“Here comes the boom!”
That’s the catch phrase at NARA Drags.
But no boom, no care.

Cold damp air? That sounds like record breaking conditions and that’s exactly what was done that night. Ram and son’s “Fish van” with hitting a new personal 9.0s [...]
All clear to land on the airstrip?
TTUNDRA clearly got that. Back with round two of Take a Pull Saturday, these street cars took full advantage of the opportunity to taste the quarter.
Pre stage, stage, amber, amber, amber. LAUNCH IT!
And that’s certainly what Gordon Rooks did in his Royal Purple sponsored [...]
St. Lucia’s Annual Drag Racing Event “Drag Wars: Retribution” comes off this weekend and will be staged at the dis-used portion of the Hewanorra airstrip, locally referred to as The Base. For those who have been to Drag Racing Events throughout the Caribbean, we confirm that this is currently the best existing quarter mile drag strip, and this without any special development.Full Story
