Trinidad and Tobago Drift Association (TTDA) held its first public event for the year on Sunday 22nd March 2015 at the Arima Race Club’s car park. This event, the first of four planned for 2015 intended to place drifters in mild competition, while showcasing the sport and training new interested drivers to expand the exposure of the drift scene in Trinidad and Tobago.Full Story
Minus the pressures of competition, drifters be it new, old or prospective were given the chance to practice all day on a course that actually mirrored one of the holy grail of drift tracks in Japan, Ebisu. Drivers either did the beginner’s layout or tackled the much more technical drift circuit, both under the watchful eye of other experienced drifters, who gave pointers and discussions allowing all to progress.Full Story

Sunday morning: 10:00am, where were you? Well one would expect us to be attending a church service of some sorts, but no, here we are in Arima Race Club; roasting tires and hitting rev limiters. Whatatatata! Mad men from around the little island popped up with their machinery ready to cause damage, and not for one second think there was only rear wheel drive cars. No no no. AutoNation’s EK civic was there. Yes, a civic. Fitted with thinner tires to the back allowing the car to break traction easier this little yellow thing was quite enjoyable to watch as it looped loops and shredded rubber.Full Story

AutoSport Racing Association held their 3rd AutoSport Drag AttaXX at ARC Car Park in Arima to a capacity crowd. Even the competitor roster was at its capacity, having to lock off entries at 76 drivers. Automobile Sales brought their new Audi A1 for a test run and The Honorable Minister of Sport not only attended, he raced!Full Story
Easy Events Unlimited led by Andre Rushford held their inaugural Drift Expo and Bike Stunt show at Pier II in Chaguaramas. Drifter from DWO (Drift World Order) and Slide Syndicate were present and put on quite a show. Both clubs also took this event as an opportunity to debut some new rides.Full Story
Drift World Order (DWO) held their first drift event for 2010 at the carpark of the Larry Gomes Stadium in Malabar. The sport has finally found a venue which they can use consistently and we look forward to regular events from this and other drift clubs this year.Full Story
