Born in Cuneo (CN, Italy) the 3rd of July 1974, since his first years, Luca Pregliasco has been surrounded by racing cars as his father, Mauro, was one of the greatest rally drivers for the period between 1970-80 with Lancia, Alfa Romeo, Ford, Ferrari and Porsche.
Before getting involved in the automotive business, Luca received his “scientific” high school degree in 1992 and, immediately after, he started his International experience in the UK where he received his First Certificate in Business English and then his BSBA at the University of Southern Europe.
In 1994 he joined his father’s motorsport team, “ASTRA RACING” where he was in charge of Team Management for the International programs in the World Rally Championship, in both the Middle East and European Championship.
In 2001, Luca founded “ASTAR SERVICES”, based in the Principality of Monaco. It specializes in the domain of motorsport, marketing, sponsorship and drivers and team management. It also take care of all the financial aspects involved.
With over 20 years of experience in automotive Luca is well known Internationally and has access to the most important manufacturers and teams worldwide.
As Team Manager, he worked with the greatest drivers world-wide: Markku Alen, Juha Kankkunen, Tommi Makinen, Toni Gardemeister, Mikko Hirvonen, Jari-Matti Latvala, Harri Rovanpera, Didier Auriol, Yves Loubet, Miki Biasion, Alex Fiorio, Gwyndaf Evans, Gustavo Trelles, Gabriel Pozzo, Aleandro Galanti, Pancho Gorostiaga, Jean Pierre Richelmi, Ernesto Soto, Martin Rowe and many other important drivers world-wide with which he has participated in more than160 WRC events in collaboration with the most important manufacturers in motorsport as: Lancia Rally Team, Seat Sport, Hyundai MSD Motorsport, Mitsubishi Ralliart, M-Sport, Ford, Peugeot Sport and Citroën Racing.
With TONI GARDEMEISTER, Luca organizing a Rally driving academy, called “TGS DA” in Europe and in South America dedicated to all those drivers who want to improve their style, skills, ability and achieve perfection.
With the 4 times World Rally Champion, JUHA KANKKUNEN, every year, in Lapland (Finland), Luca organizes top level courses on ice/snow for all types of drivers and company incentives.

Most important projects with manufacturers for both CIRCUIT (CR) and RALLY RACING (RR):• with MAZDA EUROPE, for over ten years, Luca organized and managed the MX5 and RX8 Sport Cup in Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, Spain and Portugal. More than 50 cars have been sold within the european market (CR);
• with FORD, Luca was Southern Europe Representant of the Ford Junior World Rally Team in the FIA JWRC. He also developed the Fiesta S1600 program in which Jari-Matti Latvala, who is today one of the WRC top drivers, debuted internationally.
• with NISSAN EUROPE, Luca organized and managed the Nissan 350Z Challenge in Italy and Spain;
• with SEAT SPORT, Luca organized and run the Seat Ibiza SC Trophy in the Copa Espana Resistencia;
• Since 2013, ASTAR SERVICES is searching for new opportunities with Citroën RACING and PEUGEOT SPORT (PSA Group) for the exclusive distribution of racing cars and spare parts in the NACAM’s region.
• In 2016, Citroën RACING will have its first DS3 R3 Trophy which will be organized in Mexico, Canada, Costa Rica, Panama and Jamaica (FIA NACAM);
• Luca is now exploring new possibilities in Central and South America where his know-how will be at the disposal for the Federations, Teams, Drivers who may seek opportunities for improvement both internationally or in their local region.
