Three Question.........so if a person does ...say a Bora mapping......you could do all Bora's at a cheaper price or is this mapping is a one time expire thing ,if i blow an ECU iwould i have to pay the $3000 again ?If a MAF should go faulty and an error code shows up.........do you have the capabilities to reset/repair ?

Remaps do not expire, it is your original one we use to customize so it throws no error codes.Additionally all VAG cars are scanned for faults before ReMapping.Any fault and you will need to rectify the issue before we proceed further.

We can also clear all fault codes once you replace the part. With regard to if the need a remap done to another ECU,then yes you would need to pay for another map as it's another ECU.Each ECU is different you see as evidenced by difference software model number.

Hope this helps..

Just some brief info for those who have been enquiring about our Eco Power remaps and how we are able to achieve power and economy on diesel engines..

With our Eco Power remaps there is improvement on mileage as the power & torque is applied smoothly through the RPM range all the way to redline, rather than a sudden surge or spike in applied torque as maybe experienced in some diesel or turbo applications when a "kickdown" is applied to overtake. It is because of this sudden spike in torque that "natural" wear occurs with shaft bearings, differential, transmission etc.

Our remaps change the characteristics of this applied torque and the result is savings on "wear and tare" on your engine, drivetrain and your turbo as well, which by extension burns less fuel with the added benefit or increased power.

This is so, as the torque is applied gradually but continuously thoughout the RPM range. The experience will be smoother gear changes and nothing but sheer power felt in the "pull" upon acceleration.

Though these auto manufacturers themselves could have tweaked this from the factory it is not known if this was purposely intended to generate some revenue from part sales, maintenance costs outside the firm etc.

Could it be that this small niggle was created so as to generate additional revenue by car manufacturers for servicing or part requirement? We can't be certain until your vehicle gets down in mileage.

We do have options which reduce overall wear & tare on all mechanicals however...that is where EcoTune Trinidad comes in. We actually help you protect your mechanicals from this "natural wear" and the results will be seen and experienced by you the customers...

Any other questions feel free to contact us for consultation or reply to this post

be specific when you say

I take it you mean only the NGC computers? Or did you guys figure out how to reflash the SBEC computers??

Also is each customer given a custom tune or do you have a repository of "tunes" your company uses?

nevermind, checked out the website. Seems like they have repository.
What octane fuel is required for these tunes?

Only from the list of vehicles it is only NGC computers. Answered my own questions lol.

Free bump?

Yes you indeed answered your own questions

But let me correct you with something....the repository is only used as comparison to ensure original file is stock....they were dyno tested abroad.

2nd It is your stock MAP file we optimize, so whatever octane it was programmed for, for our market remains the same unless otherwise requested.

Thanks for the free BUMP btw

Not sure what you mean here...
Is it the ignition table or fuel table that is adjusted? Or both?

The fuel parameter is only adjusted upon request, otherwise it remains OEM - the other parameters such as engine timing (spark-ignition), electronic throttle voltages, a/f ratios, higher RPM, speed cut, as well as transmission gear changes or applied torque limit can be raised- within mechanical threshold of the internals. These all have undergone thousands of hours of reliability testing after high mileages particularly.

All of these mentioned parameters including some other tweaks I have left out, are adjusted in conjunction in a way we can extract optimal reliable power from the engine while gaining better fuel economy.

Hope this helps :)
