Yes, turners I must admit I fed up now, I have been behind this car trying to sort out starting and idling issues. I have a 4th gen prelude with a f22a engine which used to run like a beyotch!!!!!!!!! not again.

However it has been parked up for a year, the car cranks but does not start immediately, only after several attempts, and when it does start it sounds like it missing, two cylinders not firing. I changed plugs, fuel filter, flush out gas tank, cleaned injectors etc.

I took out the fuel pump and had it checked by an electrician, also the main relay was checked.

I had the following miss diagnosis by other mechanics
(1) Clogged injectors - cleaned
(2) Bad distributor- replaced
(3) Change plugs- done
(4) Flush gas tank- done
(5) Clogged catalyst- removed entire exhaust pipe, same idle issues


I believe that a compression test has to be done, to determine if the engine is good.
The car started on Saturday, however as soon as I accelerate it stalls and cuts off.

My other guess is exhaust valves adjustment/replacement, maybe burnt.........

Any input will be appreciated, along for a good honda mechanic in south.
