Engine start tuning over using a a battery already i changed the plugs to denso ik16 for easy start up. I might use a toyota distributer to start it on ground since i have alot of toyota parts.

I hope people wont say is a parts show thread i have, im a toyota person im familiar with the toyota wiring i like toyota engines for the low to midrange torque they have FE engine but honda for mid to high end power. The purpose of this project is to have a nice daily gas saver driver with power so thanks for looking

gas and oil

Ok build near finishing i guess its my first engine to complete. I know its non vtec and underrated trashed but it should have the same hp or torque like a stock vtec d15b or close WHY ?

1.i raise the cr to 10.5.1 with carb pistons
2.its a vtec head gasket which is thin compared to the non vtec gasket
3.the cam is not from a d15b its from a ZC db6 120hp stock integra
4.the exhaust is a 4-2-1 designed for midrange

It just need a good intake manifold, injectors, shell and the right tune it should be able to keep up. I have some d16/zc bits to start a next vtec better project but i have to get my practice from this one first.

I switched from auto to cvt not because i cant drive a manual but a full manual swap cost was out of the project budget. I know its gonna be expensive in the long run but it will not be a racer no time. I already have a manual toyota 1500cc prepping to be boost to be the warrior the biggest advantage it have over the d15b is that the block is cast iron so 300hp can come without machine work to the block.

Some more wrinkles to iron out on this d15b like. It never came with a knock sensor or location to bolt it on i know running without knock sensor you will lose horsepower because the ecu will pull timing

Respect to the viewers.. the d15 is near complete and lighter than the other 2 by far LOL like seriously lightweight.. No more updates again till it jacked in a shell
