ek3 hatchback - engine check light

im having a problem with my ek3, the car starts, the engine check light comes on then the car cuts off. any ideas what can cause this issue ????

do a scan to verify the problem. Its usually the oxygen sensor or the iacv. Clean the iacv located at the back of the throttle body with regular carb spray and allow it to dry for 30 minutes then put it back on the car. Also clean the throttle body and allow it to dry for 30 minutes

Did you figure out the problem know some one with same situation but not sure what to tell them to look for
