WTK......Which is better, Cold Air Intake or Short Ram

I have plans of converting my intake on my EG8 and was wants to know which intake is better, a Cold Air or a Short Ram? And why? What is the costs involved and where can I get?

The engine is a EK3"s D15B just as the one shown in the pic. Also is it a simple procedure to do because I observed that this intake is upwards and not sideways as other intakes.

we in dry season now so CAI is good but when rain starts to fall go back to the short ram , because u will cry if your car sucks up water in the engine , or u will have to install a by pass

you can make you own CAI / Short ram jus buy about 2 lengths of inter cooler pipe a 90 elbow and a 45 and your should be good to go ,if u want u can wrap it in heat wrap also , it should coats your about $300- $400 a branded short ram will run you about $1200 K&N , AEM , INjen etc a CAI mite run you about $1500 depending on the brand , those no name brands work well jus buy a good filter

except the K&N plastic intakes they stay cool and dont heat up like AEM , Injun etc
