If you do a search of the Nissan forum for "CVT" you may see similar threads describing loss of power. The part where you say it loses power on an incline, might indicate the transmission is not "gearing" properly. Basically, the CVT Transmission that the SR20VE engine comes mated to, consists of a belt and pulley system for the Continuously Variable Transmission, which is a bit different from regular automatic. If you engage the sport mode, by pulling the gear selector to the +- symbol, under normal acceleration, you would see the numbers between your speed and rpm gauges, increasing. If the tranmission is the problem, it would remain in gear 3, or still display as D, even if in "manual" sport mode. When you start the car, and the transmission is functioning normally, a light saying CVT comes on for about 5 seconds, above the numbers, else it will not light or it would blink several times if there is a problem.
Common issues might be the Stepper Motor, or one of the 2 Speed Sensors need to be replaced, provided it's the transmission giving the problems...depends on how bad the power loss you are trying to describe is.
