White smoke on acceleration may be a headgasket on the way out. Oil and water mixing is headgasket related. Not having a restrictor on a turbo vehicle can cause blue smoke to be noticed on shifts and high boosting, I had this very problem and when a restrictor was installed it cleared it up instantly. Remember 0.06" for journal bearing turbos and 0.035" for ball bearing turbos. Restrictors are life savers, stock DET's have the required size line to not need a restrictor but if you happen to upgrade to braided lines please use a restrictor at the oil inlet/supply side.
