Nismo Brake Advice needed on project!

Postby Polydor » January 21st, 2005, 10:46 am

Ah yes fellow tuners,
After searching for over 5 months I finally found a set of rear disc brakes for project B12 Thunder :D :D :D . However it came with a problem, no hand brake cable :( :( :( , my question is how to work around this or even if someone has them or know where I could either make or buy them would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. Can I reuse my original hand brake cable from the drum setup?...or can this be modified to work?

Thanks in advance
Polydor.

you can use the stock cable once it fits properly. the cable doesn't change, nor should it have to change, if the end fits the handbrake mechanism on the rear caliper it shouldn't be a prob...........

good luck and remember AVOID RICE..

What you can do if it does not fit properly you can get handbrake cables made by some pipers on Charles Street opposite I think some parts place. They supposedly do good work.
