i had this problem with my lancer, it has a b14 engine an i wanted to take out the external pump and place an internal one in the gas tank....i went by a guy somewhere around the chase village area and he told me to buy the b14 pump which i got in the bamboo and i paid him $250 and he did it for me....works good since (almost 2 years now)

the external one made some kinda weird noise and sometime the car would feel like it was goin to stall...i guess because of where it was placed
