There are different tyoes of HID bulbs to fit almost any car so you just as you have a bulb in your headlight and foglight at present, you can get a replacement HID kit for both headlight and foglight.

There is a HID thread as a sticky. USe the search function.

There are dual beam(hi and low) and single beam, HID kits.

Once you put a single beam bulb in your headlight, it will act as just that, one beam and no 'high beam'.

For example, car carries on ebulb her headlight. H4 bulbs. I can choose either a single beam kit or a dual beam kit. The difference is that the dual beam kit carries an actuator on the bulb that allows to bulb to switch angles to produce the high beam and low beam?
What vehicle you looking to put this on? What you need to do find out what bulb type your car carries first.

Once the kit that the person is selling to you is the same bulb type as you would use in your headlights, then it does not matter if it is single beam. I think the b16/almera carries either H1 or H11 for headlights. The older Almera's carry H4 I believe.

1 - do a search

2 - there are projector type headlights available for these so called b16 aka almera's

3 - if you wanna cut cost hit triniretrofits a pm and get high and low bean in a projector with a pretty cool looking headlight

4 - dont be an idiot and put HID's in your fog please. I have a little over 600 watts of lights waiting for people like you. :evilbat:

My 2012 Swift Sport has HID headlights. Can I replace the hid bulbs with bulbs with a higher kelvin rating while using the OEM ballasts ?

Yes you can, provided the replacement bulb is the same type as the one you are taking out. Why you want a higher K bulb though?

Just to clarify, the actuator is in the projector lens, that opens up the light pattern for high beam, it still uses a regular hid bulb. Bi-xenon is what they call it
