Air Temperature Sensor

Greetings tuners,

A while back i remember reading a post where someone was saying something about an intake air temperature sensor. If it was not present your car would still work but the mileage would be bad. I can't seem to find back that post.

Anyone can explain a lil more on the issue? Can anyone tell me if a 5A-FE engine requires this sensor????

i eh know bout that in a 5a-fe engine
last i check that engine is trouble free and u gettin parts like dogsheit

Yeah..that post was the one about the air filter installation. But i can't remember if the 5A-FE has an air intake temp sensor. But the 5e-FE sure does.
