Hey guys,
I have a Mitsubishi Lancer C62 (just like the mirage) 4G15 engine i think. Now and again my car Stifles for gas and cuts off. First i taught it needed to be cleaned and did that but the problem still occurs. I think its the solenoid that regulates the gas that is giving problems because when it stifles and i knock the solenoid it starts back working normal. Any other suggestions??? And aslo anyone know where i can get a replacement one to buy...new or used...

Why don't you install a Weber 32/36 carburetor as a replacement? Do a search, there is a discussion about this somewhere.
