Noise when reversing

When I am reversing I hear a sort of high errrrrrr.....errrrrrr..... kinda noise.Only in reverse gear though.Car is manual

Does it seem to come from the gearbox?

u thinkin clutch release brg??......... but wouldnt he hear it when shifting also??

he would hear it in reverse or forward.

i still have mine to change yes lol

I always thought that all manual cars used to go like that when u reverse. Well then I guess something wrong with mine too :oops:

I thinkwhat he is talking about is the normal noise you get with straight cut gears that are used for reverse only.

Smalls is de original gearbox. CrazyB I think you right but I changing MTF cause I think it louder than b4
