WTK: Who balances driveshafts? WTB: 1jz tranny mount

Postby Pyol » August 2nd, 2014, 11:05 am

I installed a 1jz into an RX70. I'm getting a vibration between 40 to 100kmh.
I observed that the transmission mount rubber is split in half. Could it be that? Or the drivershaft needs balancing?
Where can I get a mount?
Who balances driveshafts in t&t?
Thanks

Carry the mount to a parts place and let them compare to other toyota a/t mounts. May have another vehicle that carries the same mount!

What About your pinion/transmission angles.......they should only be off by a few degrees.

^that one is a bit harder to rebuild as its not in a casing like how the fwd engine and transmission mounts are!
