help for sr18de engine , exhaust ....

Postby gts beast » September 21st, 2011, 1:25 pm

I have a B13 that came originally with the sr18de and lsd auto transmission , which I converted to to a sr20 lsd gearbox . I was told by a mechanic that this is a high compression engine that came with sr20de injectors (red ) , and the cams are more aggressive than the normal one. I don't know if this is true or not ? Can any one shine some light on this ????

So far I have these mods to install ...... Cold air intake , extractors , and a Greddy speed limiter cut controller .

Right know the car exhaust piping is 1.75" and i want to upgrade , but I don't know what size to go . I visited a couple exhaust shops and was told 2.5" , 2.25" some even said 2" . I really don't know much about the exhaust system , so can any one tell me which size is better and explain why ?

Any help you guys can give would really be appreciated .

well said 2'' is the way to go unless ur goin boosted then 2.5''-3'' is needed... if u go bigger u would rev more freely but loose top end power...should get a nice gain with 2''
