hey tuners,
i recently realised that when i press all the way down on the "X" the power option light by the gear shifter comes on for a short while and then turns offauyomatically.The light only comes on when the car is driven aggressively....is this any major concern?Please any advice will be appreciated..

Does this happen with the switch in the neutral position or in power?
In power position....the orange light should always be on
In the snow position...the green light always remain on
In the neutral position....what you are describing may be normal

You can road test functionality. In power it runs through all four gears and shift at 6k.
in snow, it starts off on 2nd hence there is one less gear change with earlier shifting.
also if you recently disconneceted the battery, you may get some abnormalities in the
Light display but that usually stops after a short drive. Hope this helps

its in the neutral position...but i realised its normal after searching the maxima forums and doing alot of digging.....thank God because the next step would have been a diagnostic...^^thanks for the info
