Power locks

Postby eitech » May 13th, 2012, 4:49 pm

Good day folks. What would cause my locks to activate spontaneously without pressing the switch? For example, sometimes I jus pull in d driver's door and all doors lock. Happens quite intermittently and only when I open or close d door. Car is a B15.

ok what you replaced was just the switch cluster.....nothing is wrong with your switches....
the p/w module is either located in side the drivers door, or somewhere close to the fuse box.
every time you lock/unlock you'll hear a faint clicking of the relay. try to determine where the clicking is coming from..

I'll find out where the module is for you and get back to you.

Isn't there a micro switch on the driver door as well?
