Can p11 suspension and braking parts fit on 03 almera?

Looking for some upgrades in the near future as I have outgrown a NA QG16 but....suspension and braking first.

tell me, can the p11 parts fit up or do I have to look at other options?

you can ask anil sooknanan on the forum hes the p11 man.you can also check the bluebird men on the forum, i have a bluebird (u14) but i not sure if it can / will work.

UPGRADE PARTS:
you can get the exhaust manifold...TSC on the forum has them..$1850 for it...and a JDM exhaust tip and you'll feel a better response from the car.( 2 inch front to back piping if you desperate for power) super light crankshaft pulley...check my thread i put a link there for it....and i think thats about it.. not much performance parts made for the QG series engine...Universal items like cold air intake you can get one almost anywhere.

strut bars-i think the almera and y11 is the same...you can check around and see who has them.
you can also upgrade the brake lines to steel braided brake lines, they replace the black rubber hose, and they give an awesome pedal feel.

you now owe me one cold carib....or tune the music in my car....whichever easier :lol:

Not interfering with engine / exhaust system yet. Making my list for that later.

Just want bigger brakes, rear disc, what to know what booster and if it will fit as well as ABS system.

What about axles etc for increased torque?

I see there are nylon braided lines as well, any disadvantages except durability against the steel braided?

Just call time and place.

WRT to nylon braided lines ive never come across them.
The steel braided ones work really well- unlike the rubber lines that expand slightly when you press the pedal- ie slight loss of pressure to the caliper the steel braided ones transfer full fluid pressure to the caliper and in turn the piston.

full fluid pressure means you get a firm pedal feel and responsive brakes

heres the link for the superlight crankshaft pulley its for the QG18DE...i'm unsure if it will work on other QG's..consult your mechanic....not the mango tree kind

p11 or U14 rear suspension bolts right on, jus make sure the abs lines are uncut

I'll look into the brake upgrades for now, Anil comes highly recommended.

this week I realized there is a box lancer in the yard that can be had for small $$$. Actually contemplating buying it and dropping in an SR20.....

And with some modification, 300ZX front brakes can be fitted as well.

question, how would the ABS function with these parts added on to the braking system?

i know i dont care about ABS, i like vehicles with less parts as possible and less likely to get damaged.

AFAIK ABS should function normally ans the p11/ u14 has ABS systems. once the sensor is installed correctly it should work normally as if the car had on the original parts-

On the old model almera, the p11 or u14 setup is compatible. This is not so for the new model almera..

Na lol. What I mean. I like something simple. The abs system doesn't make sense to me I see no need for it. Others sware by it.

What about booster and abs pump?

Or get these too?

Seems my booster nearing the end of its lifespan or so my mech said as it makes a puffing sound.

nerve....it makes more sense to get everything complete. that way the mechanic can swap out what needs upgrading....plus if you buy a part you dont need you can resell it.
