I would like to know when is the best time to change the CVT fluid and how often?

Don't you have a owner's manual? It's normally every 40,000kms

Make sure if is Xtronic yuh use NS2 fluid

yeah it's Xtronic.....ah have real km to cover still.
I thinking about stopping my service at N&M and letting a mech do the work instead.

You can either use Zerex Asian formula or Prestone EXTENDED life coolant....both are silicate and borate free.

I recently bought a roro Qashqai for the wifey and I am new to the CVT Transmission .... usually, I hear a very faint whistle sound when I accelerate from a stop ... it only happens around the 2nd to 3rd gear ... no issues with gear changes and everything works fine .... is that normal cvt sound ?? .... I listened to a youtube vid demonstrating the Xtronic cvt accelaration and I believe I heard the same sound .....

Yes that sound is normal.CVT don't have any gears :lol:
