No more parking brake at your feet. Has anyone test driven one as yet and is in a position to compare it to the older model with the mr20 engine.

Both Sylphys that I imported were bought from ICMjapan.
They were bought on request.
The ones on SBT are the S (base) model and the X (first upgrade) model.
All carry a 1.8L MRA18 engine.
I bought the G model.( Alloys, Rev. Camera, Start Stop, Climate control AC).
2013 & 2014 models, low mileage.

I will post pics later.

The one Massy Motors are selling is being sold as the Sentra with a 1.6 engine starting at TT$199,000.

Peace.

The Massy ones are quite disappointing.

Flier on the local:

Hoping to get a Japanese G model soon. If it could have come from Singapore. They have the 1.6 turbo version...

I have posted the pics of a Grey model with light interior.
Later I will post the pics of the black model with black interior.

As you can see by the registration, both units were delivered to their owners in late April.

Massy Motors is selling it as the Sentra. The 1.6 engine equipped one starts at TT$199,000.

The TB17 drives pretty well for an 1800cc car. It is wider inside than the KG11 Bluebird Sylphy it has replaced, and is heavier 1240kgs. but feels lighter than the Bluebird at 1230kgs.
However for me, the KG11 has more character, feels steadier on the road, and has a solid feel. Too, the 200cc bigger MR20 engine helps. Though it is smaller inside, it feels cozyier. I like small cars too.
The TB17 is a new model LED lights and so on, so one would have the feeling that people will watch and gawk. But it appears more plasticky on the inside, and I feel that the seats are not so attractive as those on the KG11.
As usual almost all cars after 2008 carry CVT transmission.
Although I advise people to buy the newest model car their money would buy, I keep cars for about ten years or so. To go against my advice, if I had a choice, I will choose the KG11 M or Axis model over the Sylphy G.
Peace.

If you are getting a Sylphy and already need bushings for it, it could possibly be a LEMON that you are getting !

If you put on wider rims, just make sure that the bolting-up flange of the rim is in the center. In other words the distance on the inside and outside should be the same. That ensures that the bushing will not get undue force.

I need an adapter to get the reverse cam from the steering wheel control harness to RCA to use on the after market deck/ Any ideas?
I prefer not to cut the wires.

Apparently these decks need the software off an SD card to work. That's what its asking for there.

Apparantly its the nav software, an installer actually recommended that the deck now be changed because it can easily be converted to english once i get the card or a copy of it... I dont mine paying if anyone has one and willing to meet to copy it because it shoudnt take long

Did you get the memory card to work? I got the exact same deck however non of the functions are working since it appears it needs the sd card which is missing, apart from putting in an aftermarket deck anyone have cards or copy of cards for sale?
