sr20ve power cut problem

Postby ruff neck chicken » June 30th, 2014, 7:33 pm

so car working fine no problems whats so ever then all of a sudden i can't cross 60 km/h. every time i cross 60 km/h the gas pedal is not responding even if i press all. only when the car slows to under 60 km/h then the gas pedal is responding again. so the car basically cuts power at 60 km/h then regains after it slows.

this happens regardless of how fast or slow i accelerate. revs out clean with full power. no stuttering or hesitation.

what the heck is going on :?

if your car was working fine all the time with this same wire and u did no electrical work to the car then it would be ur speed sensor on your gearbox or tranny that is faulty and needs changing
