B14 digital odometer to analog swap

Postby Coppershot » September 2nd, 2014, 5:59 pm

Having problems sourcing a b14 instrument panal with digital odometer and clock.
Is it possible to use the analog odometer instrument panel.
The fsm doesnt not indicate a difference. Im assuming it will plug in and work.

I am considering sending cluster for repair in the us instead of swapping it,I found this video in an effort to see if the original cluster is the problem or not.
My temp has incorrect reading (Goes all the way to H after 10mins and gradually goes back to 3/4H) or in the morning before starting car shows a temp of 1/4, instead of zero/cold) and speedometer does not work.

However while performing the diagnostic test, all guages work in diagnostic mode including temp and speedometer. So is the cluster still bad or sensor issue or both??

BTW you can have to switch off to come out of diagnostic mode.
