Run a diagnostic on the transmission. Probably the speed sensor bad.

I used qg15 sensors on ga15 manifolds already, so I highly doubt, a qg18 sensor won't work on a qg16 manifold.
Try it and report back!

you definitely gonna need to switch the manifold and then weld a bung for the rear sensor
yes you do need to install a larger piping exhaust ant the correct manifold .reason being the bigger the engine larger the pipe .otherwise the engine will back pressure and damage even spin Bering .and for the sensor install on the manifold .there is a 24" adaptor already on it just unscrew the o2 sensor and place it back with the other .Google some info on the engine you will see the recommend size pipe to installAnotrin wrote:Probkem solved. Engine rewire sorted out everyting. Qg18 pulls pretty decent I must admit. .
Only issue is that it cuts out at 180 and that I need to install the qg18 manifold as the oxygen sensors are on it.
Muffler guy told.me that I must change all my pipng to suit that slightly bigger engine and his price was 1400!. Some how I feel that a bit unecessary and very reluctant to rid my original muffler.
What do you guys think? Shud I just install the manifold and have it welded to the original one or is it necessary to redo a larger piping?
