almera overheat issue... need a good electrician?

Postby humbleservant » April 2nd, 2015, 2:51 pm

qg16 cable.

changed engine temp. sending unit
not a thermostat problem.
water pump good.

fans not tripping on properly, but working properly;

ac fan not coming on as soon as you turn on ac and the temp. needle reaching 3/4 but the fans running and cooling, and no sign of visual overheat from overflow bottle.

All relay fuses, etc good.

Can this be a bad ecm?

Can anyone refer a good, reasonable electrician?

Could possibly be a bad temp.gauge.....had this issue alr....was the gauge....if there is no sign of overheat and its on 3/4 .....then it can very well be the gauge

changed all sensors, etc.

something causing the fans to not switch on properly.

a/c fan not staying on (cycling on and off) and fans coming on at 3/4 mark on temp. gauge.

When temp reaches 3/4 , do you hear bubble ing in overflow bottle or rad as of the water is boiling? If so then you kno it's not cooling if not then it's the temp gauge!

you bleed out the cooling system properly..??

if air is trapped in the system there will be pockets of air where the temp is cooler than the coolant-

bleed out air from the cooling system

how are you sure the thermostat is good. did u check it.?

check current and ground connections for your fans and relays etc.
