Sales Rep has yet to call back two months later.

Meanwhile has received bout 3-4 calls from other sales reps for other brands in that time.

im waiting since 2011 for a test drive on a i30 and i dealt with 3 diff sales people

Lol...in that time models change and thing too.

Hyundai reps seem quite content to sell Elantras and Tucsons (or rather let them sell themselves)
Everything else is a lagniappe!!

Worse sales rep I ever encounter was a male Hyundai rep in Massy Morvant. Most disinterested and don't care attitude. His commissions were probably good thanks to the brand though.

Those i30 prices went up drastically from the 1st gen to the 2nd gen. Very expensive car.

Nah hyundai just messed up with their naming ...
the old i30 was actually more of a hatch version of the accent.
The new one is now a hatch version of the elantra and the accent now has hatch and a sedan.

Wheel size and design can make or break a car's appeal.

I read somewhere the suzuki ciaz is to replace the sx4 sedan. The sx4 sport had factory installed 17" 5 lug rims, 4 disc brakes and the m16a engine. Now it's replacement is no longer made in Japan but now in India and it has 4 lug rims, rear drum brakes and a 1.4 91hp engine. Odd. Last known price of sx4 sedan was around 161k. The ciaz overall packaging suggests it should not cost more than 140k but it's more. You really have to be a Zuki lover to by pass the chevy sonic and accent/rio to buy that.

Re navara:
Dvstt, it's carry over engines same yd25ddti but new improved transmission.

It has to be slightly reworked to be making 190hp from the 2.5. Didn't the d40 make 174hp?

Yip but the high power version was not available before. We now get them it appears from that post. To be more accurate though, the hp was actually 169 with 403nm torque. The high power is 188hp and 450nm torque.

Turbo vehicles were being tuned for $3500.

Well worth it for the gains.
