The 2.0 mr20de in the qashqai is a dead horse. Now the same motor is in a bigger and heavier vehicle ie. xtrail which retails in fully loaded form @ $410k? A current 2.5 t31 xtrail is going for as low as $350k. What does this new xtrail bring to this market for an additional $60k and with a smaller/less powerful motor?

What 2.0 non turbo engine isnt a dead horse? Not everyone cares about 0-60 times. It's not the be all for most people buying an SUV anyway.

You also want to know why the new xtrail costs an extra 60k? Go look at the spec sheet for the trim we get here.

Saw an ad over the weekend in the one of the dailies that the Mazda 6 2.0l is on a special now for $299,000. Not looking like a bad price.

The Nissan Altima has been in TT for a few of months now. Unless you're referring to a possible 2015 facelift?

The 6 speed does not have the bad reputation that the 7 speed does.

So my neighbor got a new car.. Looked like a A class with bigger rims and some kinda AMG body kit from far. I personally don't fancy the A class that much but this one looked a lot better.
Alas, much to my embarrassment, it was not an A class. It's the new GLA class apparently.. Didn't know Sterling started selling these. Wonder how much these go for..

Suzuki went more mainstream with the new vitara. They improved in the safety features, fuel economy and emissions. It's smaller and less off road capable than the previous model. In fact it's less powerful too. It should be more affordable with an available 1.6 motor with 6-speed auto or 1.6 diesel with 6-speed manual. It even uses a torsion beam suspension shared with the new s-cross. What made the boxy current grand vitara so special was its manly looks, better than average optional 2.4 motor and that excellent 4wd system. The better ground clearance and all independent suspension will be missed.

Looks like suzuki is aiming to compete directly with the nissan juke 1.6 auto. First time vitara shoppers will love the panoramic sunroof and an allgrip drive selector similar to qashqai and xtrail. Now suzuki is officially no longer in my radar lol.

I'm expecting prices to be:
1.6 auto 5door awd -$250k fully loaded
1.6 manual 5door awd - $270k fully loaded

Anything lower would be a big plus since lsm would obviously pass the mvt savings onto the customer.

I sincerely that much smaller that the 1.6 is necessary? Hard to judge from the vid/pics. And isn't manual normally cheaper?

That's the superior fit and finish of an audi for you. Don't know why your friends are so bothered. The car is not the car they paid for. Therefore they have to eventually give you a 2014 car. Consider it a blessing you have a free car to drive without consequences i.e drive like you stole it.

Well it's not like people just looking to play with fire for no reason. They carry 3 extremely desirable badges.
Mazda for their zoom zoominess
Audi's are just sexy and best value out of the big 3
And Kia's hotter than slice bread right now.

don't forget they carry Isuzu as well and own 50% of best auto (for Volkswagen). I would say LSM is the best dealership in TT. I think SS, Massy and Sterling are the worst. In between would be TTTL and Ansa

I love audis and mazdas and i still would not give southern sales my money.
My entire family agrees. They are a waste.
