I've bolded the features that are exclusive to each vehicle, which one looks more valuable now?
I could understand why people would go after a VW as opposed to a Mazda, but you have to admit that the CX-5 is very underrated and there are a lot going on in that crossover as opposed to it's opponents. The price is justified.

That's the price of a fully loaded tucson and it doesn't even have half the features as the CX-5
No matter how hard you try to compare the Tucson to the CX-5, it's just going to be an unfair
comparison because the CX-5 surpasses the Tucson in every segment.
Why isn't the price good though? Is it because it's in the Euro price range and it's a Jap vehicle?
Any of ya'll even bothered to go to the showroom and check out the features in person/test drive?

Rory Phoulorie wrote::| What is this fascination with push button start as a feature?
My mother's 1978 Ford Escort had a push button start when something went wrong with the key cylinder in the steering column. The key was used to unlock the steering and the electrician installed a button on the lower half in the central portion of the dashboard which one would use to start the car.

Choosing a car is all about personal preference, so I'm not going to tell you which is the best value for money or the best car for you. But, with your comparison to the VW Tiguan you missed many details.
Missed features:
1. The Tiguan being compared is equipped with leather interior and the pointless seat warmers in this weather (Worst thing when you turn them on by mistake at midday lol )
2. All VWs have Power Windows with One Touch Up/Down on ALL FOUR WINDOWS
3. The Tiguan does have Front and Rear Parking Sensors not just rear as stated in post
4. The Tiguan does not just have automatic air conditioning but, Dual Zone Air Conditioning
5. Equipped with a 7-speed DSG transmission
6. Engine: 2.0TSI with 200 bhp and 207 lbs/ft torque (think it might have been increased to 211 bhp but, don't want to confirm unknown information.
7. All Tiguans are equipped with Tire Pressure Monitor Systems. (The CX-5 probably has this as well)
8. Equipped with Factory Bluetooth Handsfree
9. Push-Button Start is also equipped on this top of the line Tiguan
I'm not arguing which is the better car just wanted to create a more fair comparison. The market has great choice to suit the needs of different buyers.
