some "by the way" questions i asked from a Toyota rep in Princes Town:

* New model 2009 RAV4 is nothing more but a cosmetic change to the 2008 model

* It is safe to use Super unleaded gas in The new model Corolla

* Only the 1.8 Corolla has automatic fold-in side mirrors

* Toyota will be bringing in the Versa late this year, around October

We pay 150%-220% what they pay in the US for the same car... yet on average we are paid about 50% what an average US worker gets

effectively cars are 4 times more expensive here

i may be in the market as well , but can prices be provided for the lower vehicles van type versus 4x4/4x4

the nissan looks ok but 120k and 128k the difference is single seats versus a bench seat in the front 2.7 diesel no turbo :(

ford looks good as well have to confirm prices for the low one as well

Btw what's the price of new Lancer?

I see Diamond Motors advertising the Lancer with monthly payments as low as $1,700 (special conditions apply).

Assume those 'special conditions' are the usual 20% down payment and not the 10%, that would mean the new lancer starts at about $140k?

Can anyone confirm?

I called N&M today querying prices for the navara, the guy told me $178,000 for the manual 2.5 turbo, fabric seats. not sure if is the 4x4 or 4x2 he was pricing me for tho, cuz that way outta my budget
