Cool, looks good. I just picked up a specB BL5 legacy myself and was thinking about washing down the engine bay but was kinda worried that I might screw up something

sti lookin nice man..

if I were you, I would modify it a bit for the d&w.

#1..coilovers..D2 & BC racing are popular brands for the Subaru.
#2 change all your bushings coz that rubber is gonna buss soon when you start driving hard and hittin hard corners..so Superpro, Energy Suspension poly bushings.

#3 exhaust and downpipe..get a bellmouth design..it really frees up the turbo..you will instantly feel the difference once you tune.

#4Water/Meth kit..AEM, Aquamist..also get a good tuner, and tune for the water meth with that turbo for about 22psi..with that you should just be around 300awhp, which is good enough for d&w..but if you wanna go bigger..
#5 Fuel Pump..Aeromotive 340LPH in tank

Unfortubatly if you want to push more power than that..you will have to do some engine work and rebuild that engine with forged parts

That's my plan actually...

Going to do some maintenance first, belts, seals, fluids
Next upgrade is bushings and coilovers
Meth kit, exhaust and retune

Have to learn the car before I start the mods tho. Don't wanna risk myself or the vehicle...will document eveything

initial plan was an evo/s13 then changed to a subaru so already had it...might as well use it...

the tach has Integrated temp and pressure display so i will use those to monitor oil temp and pressure...came with sender units as well...

Car looks great Aaron (like the normal black), you started a trend I wanted to start. I have a 2005 WRX (not STi)

I also use Amsoil 20W50 and the original black Subaru oil filter (Mathura's in St. James have parts reasonable).

My car does a strange thing, if I use 4.5 quarts of oil (the recommended for WRX) the level on the dipstick does not come up to the full mark, and the engine makes a slight knocking (definitely not rod knock) when cold. When I add 1 more quart the level comes up to the full mark and engine feels better and makes no noise. I always wanted to ask how much oil do WRX owners use but never wanted to create a trend.

Plugs - I use 6 heat range plugs think your car will be using 7 heat range make sure and not use the -11 (1.1 mm gap) plug but the normal ones gapped at 0.7mm.

I use the K&N drop in filter (from Tech Net) and removed the scoop.

What about oil catch cans? Considering them? These cars require two.

Doh touch to much and enjoy the ride man.

If you want great air oil seperation, I'd probably go with the grimmspeed aos.

But dual catch cans should suffice.

Other than ecutek tuning and basic maintainance learn to drive the car first there is no need to get caughtup in all the uneccesary "bling" of add on and aftrmarket parts .....give it 6 months of driving before making decisions on what parts you really needs unless you intend to make this an all out race car then most of the stuff listed above isnt needed

the man said he purchased the car for D&W mainly..

so we giving the man the advice for what he needs to really make it good at D&W..

if you look at all the Subaru & Evos that put down good times at D&W..all of them have aftermarket suspension setups with all above 300awhp..

but I still agree with you however on getting a proper feel of the car before he do anything...

Bushing for sure will be changed next month or in January. Will be trying to do a lil something every month but def not everything at the same time....

Ecutek is not needed... Unless you have 5k lying around.

There are a lot of competent open source tuners around...

Take yuh time and do your research good before doing anything. You will hear a lot of stories, the only story I believe is they are fussy cars and oil pressure is very important for the engines. I also don't like the idea of having that plastic tank radiator, feel safer with a Mishimoto or Black Works radiator (lost a Nissan engine to one of those type radiators already).
