oh; in case you do go this way, prepare for your wheels to be sticking out of your rear fenders so flares may be needed depending on how much or what tyre size you use.

did you know that nissan and mitsubishi signed a contract to supply trinidad with SR20, RB and CA18 powered box lancers?
i can bet there is a SR20 in this car or there are plans to install one so the S13 rear end will be a perfect match

with the track shortened in the rear, no tire protrusion, and you can fit some 275 tires in there comfortably or slicks. i've seen the setup work and its impressive, launches are more predictable and repeatable than using the s13 rear end.
if you have the means, i've been reading that either 240/280zx diff internals can work in the 720 housing and are available via the aftermarket with lots of options.
