There are also a number of other racetracks that could be adapted, but i like this one for its speed and simplicity as well as its combination of left and right corners.

That 2nd lap full straight WILL have to be broken up.

This should be a relatively long course, do we need a second lap? if not, then the finish box could be 'straigtened' and the extra long straight would be eliminated

A second lap is always more fun and I prefer it without the slalom on the straight, however, for safety sake......

When I drove I loved the seat time. The fastest time of day struggled to be under 60s, and the avgs were 70 and 80s with a few 90s thrown in. With a spread like that, you really saw the better drivers in each class, as the weaker ones had more time to make mistakes, and it would cost them.

The frontier (then test vehicle) would finish a course in 90seconds +

Then due to increase in # of competitors, courses run time got shorter. And stayed that way.
IMO there was a shift to championships from driving.

agreed i would like 70 seconds of seat time. my tires might hit me some stinging clout afterwards but it would be fun for a couple event to have longer courses.

I don't like an angled finish. However we could fix by using one gate for lap 2 and a second outer gate to head to the finish box...imagine the dnf's for the navigationally challenged :)

I like this version too, a nice sharp left at the end of the straight. It would also shorten the lenght of the straight so no need for a slalom.

Massa Booda has blessed us Solodex Courses SubForum
I would really like all of us to make use of it.

I will try to locate what I have of the old courses we ran, and post them.
