plane tickets get more expensive closer to the event
usually around TT$1800 but can go up to nearly twice that per person closer to the event so book early.
Hotel cost depends on where you stay, obviously, but there are hotels in the Gap like Yellowbird etc that you can stay at for US$175 per night and you can split the room costs with the rest of your crew. Up to 4 persons can share that room.
car rental can be around another US$200 for 4 days for a Suzuki Swift but can be cheaper. Again you can split that among 4 or maybe 5 ppl.
All in all expect to spend around TT$5000 per person on the entire weekend, get there on Thursday or Friday and leave on Monday or even Tuesday as the prize giving is on Monday night. Friday night is the launch and you get to meet alot of the crews and get to see the cars up close. Don't plan to leave on Sunday as you will miss the best part of the rally, leave Monday morning if you must. Food and drinks, gas etc are expensive.
You MUST experience the service park on Saturday morning, Canefield Corner on Saturday and Duck Pond on Sunday.
It seems 6 crews from T&T will be participating
John Powell, Ainsley Lochan???, Robert Cadiz, Vishall Dhanraj, Reezan Mohammed???, Stuart Johnson??? or Cristian Bourne??? - we'll see!
