TTRC High Speed Stages # 6. "Bronte Decider"

The Trinidad & Tobago Rally Club presents "Bronte Decider" High Speed stages # 6 for 2012.Sunday September 30th @ Bronte.

Stage- Bronte
Time - 10am
Date-30/09/2012

This is the penultimate event for the season and has all the ingredients to be an intriguing one.Cristian Bourne leads the championship with 64 points,John "Penti" Powell & Nick Telfer sit just behind on 60 points and Rezan Mohammed/Arshad Mondro sit 3rd on 52 . Ryan Peyrau/Simon Rodriguez lead the 2wd category on 77 points followed by Reyaz Mohammed/Sayyad Siddiq 47 and Ansel Ali/ Nandalall Ramdass on 45.
So lets put it this way...Bourne will be pushing hard to maintain his lead,Powell after rolling at the last event will be flat out in his quest to retain his 2011 championship trophy and prove he is the best. The 2 are also 1.2 respectively in group N. Rezan will be hoping for some bad luck for the top two so he can sneak in and take the top prize,Betts is coming out to prove his 2 victories so far weren't just luck and also has a shot of overtaking Rezan as the top Group A car, Latiff Khan sits just behind Betts in the group A battle and will be also be in the hunt for class honors.
Ryan Peyrau not only leads 2wd overall but also sits 4th on the overall table,quite impressive! Reyaz Mohammed and Ansel Ali sit second and third in the 2wd drive class...BUT the pair are separated by just 2 points AND are fighting for Super Modified 4 top honors,so keep an eye out as these two will take it to the wire.

Directions will be posted closer to the event,spectators can pick a location that is deemed safe by the marshals along the stage,a few "spectator points" will also be posted with tents and bathrooms

Prep work has started on the 8.0km of stage we will be running for the event.

There are three great liming spectator points on this stage. Two are accessible while the stage is live, the other one you will have to be early for. Meet at the pit area and we will lead you to the other two.

Directions to stage-
Keep left at the end of highway, and then left again at Golconda Traffic lights.
Turn right at triangle onto Cipero Road and continue along Cipero Road, passing Chinese Wrecking Service, Peterloo Street on the left and St John Masjid Road on your right
Stay right at y road curves you will see school on the hill on left and continue to drive as the road descends.
As road continues down hill and curves left, look for street on right opposite bar turn left at T in street and follow road to the pit area.
