If Its Already Faded I Dont Think Its "Repairable"... You'll Need To Change The Cone... But If You Dont Wanna Do That Then Hit It Some Spray Paint... Lol...

spray paint may change the cone too much. i would try leather dye (not liquid shoe polish eh) or even suede spray. Both of them are thin as water

Just be careful that you dont end up adding mass to the cone.

don't apply too much spray paint just lightly spray it with the can about 12inches away from the cone.

Please do not use paint. It makes the cone more brittle.

Do yourself a big favour and invest in a pair of grills for your speakers. All this talk of spray paint and dye and all that just seems to be too much effort and risk the way these guys making it sound. Honestly the grills would protect your speakers both from physical attacks, and from the sun which causes the sun damage in the first place.

But grills can't protect it from fading. Mines faded with grills on them. Grills just Make it look neat and hide the speaker if it ugly... and like you said protect it from physical attacks..

I have this wild idea, it so crazy it just might work. Now bear with me eh guys....but what if we:

Use car speakers in car

And leave house speakers for house?

Sun fade is not exclusive to pro audio speakers.

Untreated high quality paper cone car audio speakers also fade. Less additives to the cone material = less protection to sun fade.
