Guys I've got a slightly annoying rackle on my doors comming from my midbass.

I have a lot of dacron and think this would solve the problem.

What would you advise I use to attach a layer of the Dacron to the door card?

The usual spray on glue should work?

a few beads of silicone or 2 way tape maybe?

The silicone will be easier to remove though.

I have about 12 pounds of sound damping on mine. That helped.

just asking a question here. But i was reading online that when using vibration damping it is only necessary to dampen 25% of the panel itself, beyond that you wasting time. And if you would like to lessen the noise even further, a better method to use would be to use a MLV or CCF I believe it is.

From what i was reading online that is the more efficient way to sound deaden the door.

The closed cell foam worked for me. Also put some thin e-dead around the 90degree edges that touch the door metal.

Closed cell foam does seem to be the best item but I have 12-15yrs of dacron at home so given the opportunity I dont mind using it out.

Soooo spray glue should work?

The CCF would be a bit more resistant to any sort of moisture as well.

Excellent advice. Im going to strip out the 30something sq ft of damping from each of my front doors now I know that I've wasted my time. I guess 675wrms on an 8.5" woofer, hp at 35hz, doesnt require more than 25% coverage.
