That's one strange-looking mids box. I can understand the side-mounting of the 10s to reduce the width of the front baffle, but why rear-mount the smaller drivers?

but why the space between the deck and preamp?? a 1/2 size din bracket finisher kit will make the install of the preamp look neat..not to mention normal..

By "rear-mount", I mean mounting the drivers behind, rather than flush with, the baffle that's holding them.
