Q for Camry ppl

there is a Motorized shade on the backdash for the rear windsheild...

but there is no way to send it up... checked all over the car and no switch or nothing like that...

some say there supposed to be a remote control for it, but we didnt get any with the car...

is there any other way we ca get this to work?

any help would be nice.

look in the trunk where the speaker is you will see a small box with a red button.

ok... well it was up all the time...we wanted to send it down to Tint the glass and when i press the red button it went down...

the Box wrote > Emergency to send down only <

now that we tinted the car...it not goin back up....

Would a remote from another camry work in this one? :oops:

Is there a way to by pass the current setup and connect a switch directly to it?

hi maybe you can try some Vigra , jus a joke .

may be you could try this : unplug the box, check how many wires that goes to the auto shade unit check resistance between wires until you find how
they are connected .

draw a diagram .
if you find a pair with low resistance that might be the motor wire.
connect a 12volt supply with a one amp fuse , just a quick touch

or you could open up the shade and find the motor wires .
