We have come a long way on this one and so far my 2007 fielder with cvt and two tuners are under control.Quite simply we allow the vehicle to self drain (you should get about 1 qt out) and replace at removable plug located where the dipstick enters the tradition tranmission. The process is iterative and repeat 3 times in the first instance.I have elected not to go the route of a full vacuum procedure since i prefer to be conservative and risk averse. So far on doing the drain and examining the fluid collected i have found no unusual evidence which raises the need to vacuum. The cvt fluids i am comfortable with are nissan ns2 (the colour pigment which is green is not consistent with toyota red) and the eneos cvt fluid which i believe is red.The work done so far was with the nissan ns2.You make elect to engage this process as regularly as you wish in order to achieve and appropriate level of self purge.-HOPE THIS HELPS.

* NZE-141G or NZE-141 with CVT, 1.5L.
* Recommended CVT oil: World Standard (WS) Transmission Fluid
* Change interval: every 90000 miles = 144841 kilometers

* Note: It is a sealed transmission and recommended that the changed by only a Toyota certified technician no earlier than 144841 km or 90000 miles.

Will post info on "how to" change oil - if it is a manual process or if it is a machine replaceable process. Currently researching it.

The toyota fielder 2007 and up mod code NZE141G with cvt tranny is not designed to use toyota ws trans fluid. The manufacturer fluid is toyota tc or something compatabile eg. eneos cvt or nissan ns 2.Just google'toyota fielder cvt tranmissiom fluid' and follow. The ws recommendation is dangerous and flawed.
The local 08 and up corolla mod code nze141r non cvt use the ws.

Toyolink is correct. I did tremendous research on this topic and in the end came down to the ns2 and eneos cvt. I used the eneos in my 2007 fielder. no problems.

What are the DETAILED steps you did to change the oil from your CVT tranny?
If it was a machine process, provide locale and contact info.

Big Z,The importation of the TC fluid is a real commercial nightmare and am non-commital on this product since the ENOS and to a lesser extent NS-2 are readily available in T&T.
The importation of fluids in a consistent and proper manner out of ASIA is a real challenge and the economics at the end of the day is just not yielding acceptable pricing.
Having said what i have,i may if the opportunity presents itself bring this product in,but i will have to piggy back it with probably something which required me to use a container (eg a uk vehicle).

The genuine Toyota CVT transmission oil part #08886-02105 is available in Princess Town at Shaz Auto @ $650.00 per gallon.

That is the amount required for the transmission oil change. You need to drop the transmission sump, be careful not to damage the gsaket part #35168-12090 (not available at Toyota locally), and refil where the dipstick would be. There is a small pet cork like a radiator drain cap. Fill up the level of the cork.

aite fellas the cvt oil was aquired by princes town auto in knolly street, opp firestation. i didnt get a price on it as yet, the procedure on changing this fluid is that you need to aquire a transmission sump gasket because this is how you drain the oil and there is also a o-ring seal that would need replacing also, to refill you need to slacken the plug as stated above where the dipstick would have been and refill until oil trickles out, i cant remember quiet sure but i tink there is another plug dat needs to be removed to see the oil trickling as it is the case with the new prado's. i hope dis is some insight

Update the availability of the CVT fluid may become a bit problematic since Toyota Intl has initiated stiffer controls on supplies to authorized dealers.
Orders must now be from bonafide dealers in markets where the TC FLUID is valid for models sold therein.
In accordance with information rec'd you may consider communicating with your service provider to schedule/book your requirements.
The fielder/axio/noah/wish vehicles are all subject to this development.
The infor provided here
Please be guided accordingly and note 30,000 km change intervals.
The update provided here is being done for infor purposes only.

interesting, I bought twice from Parts Marketing El Socorro,
they appear to bring directly out of Miami at lease based on the shipment info sticker on the pail.
will have to find out if their supplier will be affected.

are a lot of people using the Nissan cvt oil in Toyotas ?
Having seen the inside of a cvt I would think all cvt oils pretty much will work with each other's gearbox

i know this topic gone already fellars but i got two clarifications to be made here folks

1) can u use nissan ns2 cvt oil in the fielder ?
2)can u all restate the optimal time intervals for changing of cvt oil in the tranny..i heard is 40000km and then i heard 6months from an individual.

The Nissan NS2 and Enos cvt can be used, however the pigment for both is now green.
I suggest they be used only if absolutely necessary.
The availability of the Toyota TC should be regularized within the next 4-6 weeks.
The fluid should be changed at intervals not exceeding 40,000 km and I recommend for safety sake 30,000 km.

A complete system change-out would require 2 pails and you will be left with a small residual amount.
If the system has been properly maintained with on time fluid change, you may do the 1 pail fluid change.
Essentially with the 1 pail change you are replacing that which is in your tranny sump/pan and this should be done every 30,000-40,000 kms.
Hope this helps.

Jai Ragbir 674-9615 by appt only

located on jury st, just off aranguez main rd from highway
he has the filter

does a lot of transmission repairs too, chances are you will see what the insides of a cvt
looks like.
