RAV4 issues 2002 model

Guy, any ideas on why my overdrive is not activating ? Anyone had this issue. It's a 2002 RAV4. 1,2nd ,3rd is fine but it would not go in to 4th gear.

carry it for a diagnostic. may be related to an ecu problem. other than that do you have any transmission issues?

Did the scan, it's saying over speed sensor faulty. Will look to change it.

Over speed sensor was replaced, it did not help.
Any where I can get the ECU repaired or checked?

The engine was replaced a couple months ago, I am wondering if the thermostat was removed. It does run a little under half, maybe the ECU is seeing the temperature to low and not allowing the overdrive to come on.

Update,
The transmission and over drive gear is now working excellent. The problem was the revolution sensor on the transmission was not jacked in, the engine was replaced two months ago, most likly the mechanic missed that sensor jack.
