I know the nze has o/d, dunno about yours. The o/d just holds the transmission from shifting into 4th, good for engine braking assistance.

You have no control over the vvt, it kicks in at around 4500-5200 rmp, cant remember

There is the AC filter to change...
Do Not use no Fram Oil Filter...
You can use a 6 months/10,000 km for servicing... Some people use less depends on ur budget I would say
I owned two Toyota already and alignment does not go off so easily, which is great.

I have a 2011 corolla and I'm not taking it back to Toyota because they are too expensive. I typically do all maintenance myself and the following is my schedule:
1) original oil filter and synthetic oil 10W-30 every 10,000km however my cousin (working in Toyota) advise I can push it (filter) to 15,000km. The oil can go up to 15,000 miles but my best practise is to change with filter.
2) Engine air intake filter replacement on inspection.
3) AC filter replacement on inspection. Bought some spare ones on Amazon which were EXTREMELY cheaper than buying at Toyota.
4) Rotate tyres every 10,000km. I intend to only align when I replace tyres.
5) Inspect plugs and replace when tips are worn out.
6) Fuel injector cleaner (Redline added to fuel) every 5000km.
7) Check Tyre pressure and top up every 5000km.
8) Top up fluids. These mostly will be windshield wiper fluid and sometimes battery water. Everything else like brakes, coolant, engine and transmission should not change much unless you have a leak.
