need some help, i am getting a 2003 NZE corolla and the persons says that the engine check light is on because the O2 sensor is bad, looking for some advice on what problems it can cause if running the car without replacing it, price, what other parts could be affected and what to look for when going to actually see the car....i dont want to buy the car and end up with all kinda problems with it....thanks for any help

About $300. But make sure you do a diagnostic check to locate which sensor is bad. There are a few sensors that can cause that problem

Definitely have it scanned to make sure it's just the sensor. Next thing it's really a bunch of issues that'll be timely and expensive to address.

Kinda like those guys who sell cars without a/c and tell you "it only need a lil gassin' up", and after you buy the car, turns out the problem is the compressor, the drier need changing and the evaporator leaking.

Look before you leap.
